G’day to all Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is an honor for me to invite you to participate in the

5th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED VIBRATIONAL SPECTROSCOPY (ICAVS5)
to be held in Melbourne, Australia, July 12th -17th, 2009.

ICAVS is amongst the world's leading vibrational spectroscopic meetings attracting participants from all over the world. This symposium brings together scientists specializing in different spectroscopic techniques and methods of analysis giving them an excellent opportunity to broaden their minds beyond their individual specializations. In addition, ICAVS is intended not only for those actively engaged in the field, but also for those wishing to become acquainted with the latest developments. The Australian Conference on Vibrational Spectroscopy (ACOVS8), the next in the series of Australian Vibrational spectroscopy conferences will be an integral part of ICAVS5.

Along with a significant scientific program we have organized social events that will allow you to explore the vibrant city of Melbourne and its surrounds.
