The conference will take place on the campus of Melbourne University, situated on the edge of the beautiful city of Melbourne and at the heart of Melbourne’s world class research facilities. The university is served by an efficient tram service but is also within walking distance of both the main Melbourne shopping areas and the cosmopolitan restaurant rich area of Carlton.

Melbourne itself has an extensive fully linked train, tram and bus network.

Air travel

Melbourne can be reached directly by air from numerous cities in Europe, Asia and America and provides easy access to Australia’s major tourist attractions for pre or post conference trips. The airport is served both by major carriers and by budget airlines.

A range of airlines service Australia with budget airlines such as
Jetstar and Tiger providing many options. Depending on the season and availability of bargain fares Qantas and Virginblue are also sources for reasonably priced fares.

NB For those coming from Europe or Asia Tiger airways have the cheapest flights from Singapore to Melbourne.
