• Nikon microscope for image capture.

Absorption Cells:

• Small volume Multipass White-type cell with a maximum optical path length (OPL) of 2 metres
• Large volume Multipass White-type cell with a maximum OPL of 40 metres.
• Pyrex two-meter long single pass cell (90mm diameter).
• Heatable 1.5 metre metal cell (40mm diameter).
• Enclosive Flow Cooling (EFC) cell - A double-pass (80 cm path) cell that cools molecules in the enclosive flow to around 100K.
• Super free jet expansion chamber - cryopumped and with 11 optical passes of the supersonic expansion.

Other Equipment:

• 40W CO2 laser used for pyrolysis heating.
• Corona discharge Excitation Supersonic Expansion (CESE) chamber coupled to the HR 120 for emission work.
• Heated quartz pyrolysis tubes of varying length.
