Shiddiky obtained his PhD (Analytical Chemistry) from Pusan National University, South Korea with Prof. Yoon-Bo Shim in 2007. His Bachelor and Master degrees (Chemistry and Physical Chemistry) were from ShahJalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. In 2007, Shiddiky received the Pusan National University “Best Graduate Student Award” for his contribution in developing a miniaturized and controllable DNA preconcentration process that pave an open way for the next portable gene analyzer.
