Obtained B.Sc (Hons) in Sri Lanka, MSc and PhD in Japan, first Post Doc in Japan. Joined to Bond group at Monash University (second Post Doc) in 2006. Currently working on synthesis of reactive ionic liquids and their industrial applications (Orica linkage project).
