Leading scientist recognised

Green Chemistry is very pleased to announce that Professor Alan Bond, FAA has been awarded a Federation Fellowship by the Australian Research Council. The ARC Federation Fellowships are prestigious awards that recognise highly distinguished and creative scientists. Through the award, outstanding researchers are encouraged to continue working in Australia, playing key roles in establishing the Australian research agenda, supporting and promoting the work of Centres, mentoring staff and students, and helping to build international links. Professor Bond, who will be joining the Centre for Green Chemistry, will play a very important role by heading important research initiatives in Green Electrochemistry.

2nd International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry and 9th Annual Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference

Professor Ryoji Noyori, (centre) Nobel Laureate for Chemistry in 2001, presented the Monash University Centre for Green Chemistry sponsored lecture at the 2nd International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry and 9th Annual Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference, Washington June 2005, with Dr Paul Anastas, Director, Green Chemistry Institute, Washington D.C. and the Director Prof Milton Hearn.
