Schools Programme
The Centre for Green Chemistry runs a Schools Outreach Program, with a guest presenter available to visit schools to deliver special chemistry demonstration lectures.
The presentation covers current environmental issues and some practical applications of Green Chemistry. It is available for different year levels and supports the existing science curriculum. Topics include industrial pollution and global warming, and how science is addressing these issues through advanced "green" technology such as fuel cells, microwaves, supercritical solvents and composting plastic (to name a few).
Available to school and community groups throughout Victoria.
