Australian Postgraduate Award - Industry, 2 positions, one to work in the field of NMR of ionic liquids, the other with CSIRO on lithium battery electrochemistry.

This project will involve both computational and experimental studies.

This project involves the preparation and characterization of nanostructured plastic crystalline compounds based on a range of novel organic salts.

The project would be suitable for a student with interests in some synthetic chemistry of ionic liquids along the characterization of the products by a variety of means including advanced NMR techniques.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a minimum qualification of a BSc degree with Honours Grade H2A or equivalent.
Overseas students must meet the English requirements for both Visa entry and Monash University (preferably IELTS).
Applicants who are not Australian/New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents will need to pay tuition fees.
