VICOSC002 Scientist for the development of novel 3rd generation device concepts
The appointee will be responsible for the development of novel device concepts and proof-of-principle experiments in the area of 3rd generation photovoltaics. It is our aim to apply novel device concepts of 3rd generation photovoltaics, developed in the area of conventional photovoltaics, to the area of organic photovoltaics. One prominent example of such organic 3rd generation devices are tandem dye-sensitized solar cells.
Selection Criteria
a) Essential:
- A relevant doctoral qualification in Chemistry, Physics, Material Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
- Proof of significant research output during/after your PhD (publications, patents, conference contributions)
- Strong background in optoelectronics, semiconductor physics and nanodevices
- Excellent oral communication and writing skills
- Proved team-work experience and capacity
