Project 1 - Printable Solar Cells

Monash researchers are a part of the Victorian Consortium for Organic Solar Cells (VICOSC) team that have recently attracted $5 million from the Victoria's Science Agenda (VSA) Strategic Projects Fund to develop technologies for printable solar cells.

  1. VICOSC Research Fellows (job reference RF-VICOSC):
    Several postdoctoral positions are available in the areas of a) scale-up and synthesis, b) barriers and encapsulation, c) printing, d) prototype device design and e) performance and durability.
  2. VICOSC PhD –students (job reference PhD-VICOSC):
    Four PhD studentships are available at Monash University in the areas of a) novel device architectures for dye-sensitised solar cells, b) Liquid electrolytes based on non-iodide/redox couples, c) ionic-liquid/quasi solid electrolytes based on non-iodide redox couples and d) stability of plastic dye sensitised solar cells.

Project 2 - 3rd Generation Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

Vacant postions in the research team of Dr Udo Bach in the area of tandem and plasmonic dye-sensitised solar cells

  1. 3rd Gen DSC Research Fellow (job reference: RF-Bach)
  2. 3rd Gen DSC PhD Scholarship (job reference: PhD-Bach).
